A totally restored example of Day’s ‘Small Moulded Chair’ originally designed for the dining area in the Royal Festival Hall at the 1951 Festival of Britain.

The steel rod frame and bent ply back/arms have been stripped & resprayed/polished to mint condition.

The seat & backrest have been re-upholstered with Mourne Check Granite textile designed by Day’s favoured modernist weaver Gerd Hay-Edie.
